Blue Door of York has been providing quality student houses in York since the early 1990’s. We pride ourselves on being friendly, efficient and helpful.
We offer an easy, hassle free, bills included service. There’s no need to battle with utility companies or split complicated bills between housemates and it’s much easier to budget your cash.
Just choose a house, pay a £400 deposit (held by the independent Deposit Protection Service) sign a contract and move in! We do all the bills and admin so you don’t have to.
We're not agents, we own all of our York student houses so we take good care of them and you.
All of our student houses in York are between 4 to 9 minutes walk from the York St John University Fountains Learning Centre.
Our standard tenancy is twelve months from the start of July to the end of June.
We don't charge fees. No holding fees, agent's fees, signing fees or call out fees for our student accommodation in York.
All our houses comply with the latest safety regulations and include fire doors, mains wired smoke and heat alarms, fire extinguishers, fire blankets and modern electrical safety systems.
Mike is our full time manager – you'll meet him when you view a house - and we have a permanent, responsive maintenance team in York.
